Work along the north route includes the replacement of five existing pipelines along five miles of ExxonMobil Pipeline Co. rights-of-way between Exxon’s Baton Rouge Refinery Complex and Polyolefins Plant in East Baton Rouge Parish. This pipeline work will support current and future production of important products such as automobile parts, milk containers, recyclable food containers, diapers, glue sticks, office tape and surgical/hospital gowns. Construction activities will be conducted safely and with minimal disruption to the surrounding community.
ExxonMobil Pipeline Company will be conducting repair, replacement and installation work during 2020 along approximately 18 miles of pipeline in Iberville and West Baton Rouge Parishes. This work will support important facilities in the area including the Port Allen Lubricants Plant and Anchorage Chemical Terminal. The Port Allen Lubricants plant produces and globally distributes nearly 100 different lubricants while the Anchorage Chemical Terminal produces and distributes approximately 1.7 billion pounds of petrochemical products annually.
Our work along the East Bank of the Mississippi River includes the replacement of approximately 96 miles of chemical feedstock pipelines in Ascension, Iberville and East Baton Rouge Parishes. We are working closely with landowners and community members to ensure this replacement work is done with minimal disruption during all stages of work. This work will support current production and future growth of the Anchorage Chemical Terminal and the Sorrento Gas Storage Facility. These facilities and the connected pipelines will help the greater Baton Rouge area maintain its position as the manufacturing core of Louisiana.
